ATLANTA - Gov. Nathan Deal will meet with the CEOs of Piedmont Health and Anthem Blue Cross on Monday, as the dispute between the healthcare provider and the insurance company stretches further into April.
Deal announced the meeting on his twitter feed on Wednesday:
Negotiations continue between the two companies as they try to hammer out a new, three-year contract. As of April 1, Blue Cross customers could no longer see Piedmont medical personnel without incurring out-of-pocket costs.
