Republican gubernatorial hopefuls meet in Gwinnett GOP debate

The debate was held Saturday night at Norcross High School.

NORCROSS, Ga. - One day after qualifying for Election 2018 ended, the Gwinnett GOP hosted a debate for its gubernatorial candidates Saturday night.

Six of the seven GOP candidates for governor participated: Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, Secretary of State Brian Kemp, state Sen. Michael Williams, former Navy SEAL Clay Tippins, former state Sen. Hunter Hill, and author Marc Urbach. Eddie Hayes did not attend.
