CONYERS, Ga. -- Conyers police are looking for two men who opened fire in a local Family Dollar in broad daylight while attempting to rob the store.
Authorities released surveillance video on Thursday that shows the two suspects rushing into the store in the 1100 block of West Avenue, drawing their weapons, opening fire and then making a fast escape.
Despite the fact that both fired shots, no one was injured in the robbery. The men escaped the scene in a gray Nissan SUV with a black hood and right front fender. They were described as black males and both were wearing hoodies at the time of the robbery - though their faces were uncovered and clearly visible upon their exit.
The men were also accompanied by a black female who appeared later in the surveillance video.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS to be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
