ATHENS, Ga. – Talk about flying in style.
The University of Georgia Bulldogs headed west on Tuesday and they didn't hold back when it came to travel comfort.
After a police escort from Athens to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the Dawgs boarded up a 747 that holds something special: past champions.

The airport tweeted that the specific Delta plane the Dawgs boarded has flown the last two National Champion teams. For a fan base that is very superstitious, the good vibes are definitely there for Dawg Nation.
If the plane's winning history isn't enough, check out what the inside looks like. The two-layered plane sat each player and coaches in individual pods.

Talk about being treated like champions.
The Dawgs will compete in the Rose Bowl against the University of Oklahoma on January 1, 2018, in Pasadena, California. The winner will compete in Atlanta in the National Championship Game.
