GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A tractor trailer fire has been extinguished but the damage lingered on Interstate 85 going northbound just past Highway 316.
Gwinnett PD confirmed the wheels of the truck had caught fire just north of Highway 316 and that any damage sustained in the wreck was contained to the wheels.
Traffic was diverted for about two hours before crews were able to reopen all lanes around 6:30 a.m.
