HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. - One of the hardest hit areas after Monday's storms were counties that share a border with Alabama, where the storms were at their strongest.
Particularly in Haralson County, Winds knocked over trees and power poles and even uprooted a gas station canopy.
Storm damage and Severe weather on March 19
Chief Brian Walker who is head of the EMA and the Haralson County Fire Department confirmed there were two injuries reported and several downed trees, some falling on top of cars.
Power lines and poles have also fallen due to the intense winds.
The extent damage will not truly be known until the sun rises and crews can properly assess the damage.
