ATLANTA — Calling all web-slingers, wall-crawlers, and friendly neighborhood heroes! It's time to don your best Spidey attire.
MomoCon 2024 needs help to become the official Guinness World Record holder for the most people dressed as Spider-Man characters. It's the event's second shot at the title.
Whether you're a die-hard fan of Peter Parker, Miles Morales, or any other arachnid-inspired hero, Saturday, May 25 is the time to shine brighter than the Stark Tower.
But wait, what's the catch? Fear not, true believers, for with great power comes great responsibility, and here's what you need to know to swing into action:
- Embrace Your Inner Spider: Channel your favorite Spider-Man persona and suit up in a complete costume. Whether it's the classic red and blue, the sleek black symbiote suit, or even the futuristic Spider-Man 2099, let your creativity run wild! Just make sure your costume includes a matching top and bottom, and don't forget those full facemasks.
- Mark Your Calendars: Clear your schedule for Saturday, May 25, and set your spidey senses to tingling! The record attempt kicks off at 2 p.m. sharp, so make sure you're at the Georgia World Congress Center, outside the registration and entrance to Building B in International Plaza. It's the same location that witnessed the webslinger extravaganza in 2023, so you know it's where the action is!
- Strike a Pose: Prepare to be immortalized in superhero history! By participating, you consent to being part of a massive group photo for the record attempt. Get ready to show off your best hero pose and let the world know that Atlanta is home to the ultimate Spider-Verse gathering.
To break the record, MomoCon said it needs over 600 Spider-Man characters assembled in one location.
