Thirty dogs need forever homes after they were rescued during a hoarding investigation.
LaGrange Police Department’s Animal Services recovered the Mastiff mixed breed dogs Friday. Investigators declared the residence unfit for human habitation.
The owner surrendered the pets to animal services.
All of the dogs, including nine puppies, will be available for adoption starting Monday, June 3.
City officials said anyone who is interested can call animal control at 706-298-3606. You can also go to the department, which is located at 1390 Orchard Hill Road in the Animal Services building with the LaGrange-Troup Humane Society.
