ATLANTA — A 15-year-old was shot in the leg, stomach and back, but remarkably is doing OK after an apparent argument over setting off July 4th fireworks escalated in Atlanta.
The boy is said to be stable at Grady Hospital, despite being shot three times.
Exact details of the confrontation aren’t clear, but police said the teenager was one of several people setting off fireworks Thursday night in a neighborhood along Fairburn Road in southwest Atlanta.
Some kind of argument involving a man telling them to stop left the teen with the gunshot wounds.
The victim has not been identified, and police do not yet have a suspect.
They’re asking for the community’s help to find the gunman.
