FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — An infant of a Georgia deputy who's been in the NICU since birth's condition has improved since the family asked for the public to send letters of support.

Adeline's parents, Nathan and Bella Burks, said she'd gotten tons of love and sent a photo of the box of hundreds of letters they'd received.

She was born on October 25, a high-risk pregnancy and is battling rhinovirus, viral bronchiolitis, and meningitis; her parents said that she's exceeding all expectations.
