ATLANTA — One man is dead and another injured after a shooting on Denny Lane in Cobb County on Monday, according to police.
Officers with Cobb County PD said they responded just after 2 p.m. on Aug. 26.
There, they found the two people with gunshot wounds. Thus far, officers said the investigation indicates the two got into an argument that escalated to gunfire.
Thirty-four-year-old David Brooks, who was shot multiple times, was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
The other person injured, a 65-year-old man, was shot in the leg.
Cobb County Police are still investigating the incident.
