It happened on Nov. 12, around 6:30 p.m., deputies said, on Cumming Highway near Jordan Lane. That's where 79-year-old Sandra Fitts was found dead after being hit by a car.

A Canton Police Department officer soon located a truck after it was seen turning on Bishop Drive. Authorities said the damage was consistent with the scene’s evidence and had identified the Amazon truck as the vehicle involved in the incident.
