Jogger robbed, stabbed at Gwinnett park, police say

Gwinnett Police are trying to identify two people that allegedly robbed and stabbed a jogger at Graves Park in Norcross.

NORCROSS, Ga. — Gwinnett Police are trying to identify two people that allegedly robbed and stabbed a jogger at Graves Park in Norcross.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to the park at 1540 Graves Road in unincorporated Norcross where the victim told them he was robbed and stabbed by two suspects while jogging on the park trail. 

He told police that the suspects blocked him as he approached, displayed knives, and demanded his wallet and phone. 

Police said the victim complied but not before being stabbed in the leg. 

According to the police report, the suspects got away with his wallet containing $700 cash, a debit card and his drivers license. 

They said the victim chased the suspects to the Regal Vista Apartments in DeKalb County and observed them getting into a black passenger car and exiting the complex. 

The victim was treated and transported to a local hospital for his injuries.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males with a thin build, one with short curly hair and the other with long curly hair.
