LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Lawrenceville Police have arrested and charged a man in the deadly shooting of another outside a local bakery on Saturday.
Thirty-seven-year-old Ervin Fejzic was shot and killed outside his business on Scenic Highway Saturday.
On Sunday, police took 38-year-old Leroy Taylor into custody and charged him with the following:
- Felony Murder
- Aggravated Assault
- Armed Robbery
- Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of Felony
- Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon
Taylor is currently in the Gwinnett County Jail, according to police. They add that no other suspects are believed to be involved.

Lawrenceville Police Department said it happened in the Fezjic Euro Bakery's parking lot on Scenic Highway before 7 a.m. When officers arrived, 37-year-old Ervin Fejzic was found dead.
Some residents we spoke to in the Lawrenceville neighborhood say they are shaken up to hear the news of this deadly shooting.
One man we spoke to says he comes to this gas station and this bakery all the time, and nothing ever happens over here.
“This area here is good! You rarely see wrecks over here. I was on my way to a meeting and saw lots of police cars but didn’t stop," Kenny Thompson said.
