CHAMBLEE, Ga. — A 26-year-old man who was wanted for an August homicide is accused of killing another this week after a deadly shooting at a Chamblee QuickTrip.
Quinterius Sutton, 26, was arrested in connection to the deadly shooting at the gas station on Monday. Police said he was also wanted in a deadly shooting on August 23, 2023, in DeKalb County.
In that incident, Sutton is accused of killing 21-year-old Trevor Stephenson outside of Wooden Nickel located on Tucker Norcross Road. According to jail records, Sutton was charged with two counts of murder for both incidents and other charges.
Chamblee Police tracked down the suspect's vehicle in East Point an hour after Monday's incident happened. According to authorities, Sutton was then taken into custody. Police are holding him at the DeKalb County Jail in connection with both incidents.
