ATLANTA — A murder suspect has been found weeks after he escaped from custody at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, police said.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, on Wednesday, Carwon Marqavious Redding was found and arrested by fugitive detectives with assistance from Georgia State Patrol, other members of the fugitive unit, SERFTF and APD Zone 4 officers.

MARTA Police initially arrested Redding in connection to an April 14 homicide on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. He was charged with felony murder and criminal attempt to sell cocaine, police said.
Then, on Sept. 27, police were notified that Redding, who was in the custody of Atlanta City Detention Center staff, escaped from Grady Hospital when he was awaiting medical treatment.
Redding was captured on surveillance leaving Grady Hospital. Police said that Redding may have disrobed and could have been wearing different clothing.
Days later, Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta announced a $5,000 reward for anyone with information about his location.
Now that Redding is back in custody, he is being sent to the Fulton County Jail, police said.
