Police ask for public's help identifying suspects in Mechanicsville shooting that injured 5

On the night of Saturday, Aug. 10, police responded shortly after 10 p.m. to a parking lot along Windsor St NW after hearing several gunshots while in the area.

ATLANTA — Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit are asking for the public's help identifying suspects in connection to the shooting in Mechanicsville that injured five people.

On the night of Saturday, Aug. 10, police responded shortly after 10 p.m. to a parking lot along Windsor St. NW after hearing several gunshots while in the area. 

When officers arrived, they found five people shot, including a 29-year-old woman who was taken to the hospital critically hurt and four additional victims: a 17-year-old girl, a 33-year-old woman, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

In new developments on Monday, investigators released photos of the suspects wanted in connection with the shooting: 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit directly at (404) 546-4235. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at (404) 577-TIPS (8477), online at www.StopCrimeAtl.org, or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (274637).

Anyone with information leading to the arrest(s) of the suspects may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
