Police searching for suspect after man found dead in truck in Lawrenceville

Guadalupe Garcia Rodriguez, 40, was found dead in his truck on July 3.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Three weeks after a man was found dead inside a truck in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County Police have released photos and video of a suspect in the case. 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s with a slim build. He was last seen walking on Bethesda Church Road near Hidden Drive.

The body of Guadalupe Garcia Rodriguez, 40, was found in his truck on July 3 around 12:30 on Paden Cove Trail after his wife, Rosa Quintanilla, had reported him missing two days earlier.

Quintanilla previously told 11Alive that Rodriguez had left for work with a tree-cutting company on the morning of July 1. She said "bye" to him, and he said it back. After he didn't answer her messages or calls throughout the day, she called his manager, who said he never showed up for work. He never returned from work that day.
