ATLANTA — Atlanta is ranked the best city for singles in 2025, according to a new report from personal finance company WalletHub.
WalletHub's data ranks 182 U.S. cities, including the 150 most populated cities, across several key indicators: economics, fun and recreation, and dating opportunities. The report also compares the number of singles to the amount of online dating opportunities and the average price for a two-person meal.
The report revealed that Atlanta clinched the top spot thanks to its strong performance in several key categories, including its abundance of restaurants per capita (ranked 1st). While the city fell short in online and mobile dating opportunities (ranked 91st and 71st, respectively), its overall liveliness and amenities make it a haven for singles.
Here's a breakdown of Atlanta's rankings:
- Overall rank: 1st
- 8th – Share of singles
- 91st – Online dating opportunities
- 71st – Mobile dating opportunities
- 1st – Restaurants per capita
- 50th – Singles gender balance
- 79th – Unemployment rate
