ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Alpharetta Police are investigating a deadly single-vehicle crash that killed three people and sent two more to the hospital on Tuesday night.
Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office identified the two who were killed initially in the crash as 18-year-old Aryan Joshi and 18-year-old Sriya Avasarala. Police said they both died at the scene.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner said a third victim -- identified as 18-year-old Anvi Sharma -- had died from her injuries on Wednesday morning at North Fulton Hospital.
Joshi was a senior at Alpharetta High School and was just over a week from graduating, Alpharetta High School Principal Mike Scheifflee said in a statement to student's families on Wednesday.
Both Avasarala and Arma had just finished up their freshman years at the University of Georgia.
Alpharetta Police clarified Wednesday evening that one of the surviving victims in the crash was the driver.
The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety said the wreck happened on Westside Parkway between Hembree Road and Maxwell Road around 7:55 p.m. Both northbound and southbound lanes of Westside Parkway between the two roads were closed for hours as police investigated the crash.
On Wednesday evening, Alpharetta Police said the driver of the vehicle lost control of the car, causing it to leave the roadway into a tree line where it flipped upside down. Police said that speed may have been a factor in the wreck.
One of the victims who remains in the hospital is a senior at Alpharetta High School. The second victim in the hospital is a student at Georgia State University and was the driver of the vehicle, police said.
