14-year-old girl missing for more than a month located, sheriff's office says

Kamya Jones went missing in Douglas County at the end of May.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — Kamya Jones, a 14-year-old who had been missing since May, has been located, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday morning.

In June, police sent out separate alerts at the same time that Kamya Jones and 15-year-old Kyla Jones had been missing. 

The original June 13 Facebook post had been updated to say Kyla had since been located, though it's not clear when.

Kamya had been missing from Douglasville since May 31 and Kyla had been missing since May 20 from Macon.

Authorities never said if the two were related.

UPDATE: UPDATE: 07/23/2019 @ 8:15am: Juvenile Kamya Jones has been located.
