DeKalb Police searching for 80-year-old woman missing for days

The department put out the notice that Rosa Mae Dawson was missing on Wednesday, November 13.

Police in DeKalb County this weekend are continuing to search for a missing 80-year-old woman.

The DeKalb County Police Department first reported Rosa Mae Dawson missing on Wednesday, November 13.

In an update on Friday evening, the department said she was still missing and they are asking people to continue to share her photo.

DKPD did not detail the full circumstances of how Rosa may have went missing. They said she was last seen on Wednesday leaving the 2400 block of Jenay Court, which is a residential area north of I-20 in the Candler-McAfee section of south DeKalb.

She is described as 5-foot-1, weighing about 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen in pink long-sleeved pajama pants and black shoes.
