FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, an Alpharetta man was arrested on Wednesday night after making a reported gun threat near Primrose School of Alpharetta East.
A spokesperson with the Sheriff''s Office, Stacie Miller, says parents of the preschool assisted in apprehending the man.
"The parents followed him from in front of the school where he was making threats and detained him in a subdivision not far away. A parent is the one who called 911," says Miller.
The suspect, 20-year-old Jack Wade of Alpharetta, was arrested around 6:30 pm. Miller says no one was harmed during the incident.
Deputies say that Wade seemed “distraught” as he was yelling and crying near McGinnis Village Place. After emergency personnel examined Wade on the scene, they determined that he was not physically hurt.
Wade was taken to Forsyth County Jail and was later charged with terroristic threats. He is currently being held without bond.
