EAST POINT, Ga. — Fans and residents alike that are headed to East Point Commons for the Wednesday Wind Down featuring Tony Terry, Anthony David and Algebra are being asked to use MARTA to get to the show.
The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2019, from 5-9 p.m.
Last month's free show, which featured Jon B. and Montell Jordan, among others, drew more than 6,000 concertgoers to downtown East Point, according to the city.
While the city has five parking lots set up for the event, they are hoping to alleviate traffic and parking issues by encouraging mass transit use.
If you have to drive, you can use one of these five lots:
- Wagon Works Parking Lot (1514 Cleveland Ave, Concertgoers can use the Pedestrian Bridge to walk over to the event)
- East Point Customer Care (2791 East Point Street)
- W. Cleveland Ave Upper Parking Lot next to Grady Health Clinic
- East Point Grady Health Clinic Parking Lot (1595 W. Cleveland Ave)
- Parking across from Big Nick’s Restaurant on East Point Street
This month's concert, like all Wednesday Wind Down concerts, are free shows.
The show will have food trucks, beer, wine and margaritas, so fans are asked to leave tents, pets and outside food and drink at home.
