ATLANTA — The week has brought sub-freezing temperatures to much of the region, especially the farther into north Georgia you go.
Several school districts in that area have announced delayed starts Tuesday because of the freezing conditions and ice on the roads.

Here's a running list of districts that have announced delays or other impacts:
North Georgia school delays due to weather conditions & icy roads | List
- Fannin County School System: Operating on a 2-hour delay.
- Union County Schools: Operating on a 2-hour delay.
Monitoring, no announcement:
- Rabun County Schools: District asked parents to "remind students to dress warmly and appropriately to ensure they are prepared for the cold" as the district "will continue to monitor conditions closely in collaboration with local authorities and the Greenville weather service."
- Towns County Schools: Posted on Facebook: "Remember to dress your kiddos in layers as they head out to school! We are going to have some really cold weather this week."
