ATLANTA — An all-clear was issued on Monday after a suspicious package led to a "shelter in place" order for Clark Atlanta University students, faculty, and staff, according to school officials.
Atlanta Police said the package did not contain any dangerous or hazardous materials.
The announcement comes hours after a pep rally was held at the university celebrating the men's basketball team's SIAC championship win. The school specified that the celebration had ended before being alerted about the package.
At this time, there is no information connecting the two.
