WINDER, Ga. — Weeks after a tragic school shooting took the lives of two teachers and two students at Apalachee High School, students and faculty have a glimmer of happiness to look forward to, thanks to country music star Jelly Roll.

Ahead of his show in Atlanta on Saturday night, the "Son Of A Sinner" singer will stop in Winder for a private healing performance at Jug Tavern Park at 1:30 p.m.

The city says the event aims to "foster healing and unity for students, faculty, and families" as they recover from the tragedy. Only those with school-issued wristbands will be permitted into the park, and all other guests will be directed to an overflow lot while space allows.

Food and beverage vendors will be available on-site, and there will also be a free water station.
