Police officers, stadium staff arrange for Braves fan to meet favorite player

Thanks to Sgt. J.W. Morris with the Cobb Police Department, as well as another officer, Jordan Huffman got to meet Nick Markakis.

ATLANTA — Jordan Huffman recently graduated from the University of Georgia. If he looks familiar, that's because his reaction to being accepted to the school went viral

Huffman’s mother, Kathryn Junod, recorded the moment her son, who has Down Syndrome, found out and shared the video with 11Alive News in 2016. His touching reaction went viral.

Now a college graduate, Huffman, who is an Atlanta Braves super fan, got to meet his favorite player.

Thanks to Sgt. J.W. Morris with the Cobb Police Department, as well as another officer, Huffman did just that.

His mother, Kathryn Junod, said he's been saying how much he's been wanting to meet Nick Markakis.

Huffman was able to meet Markakis and take a photo with him as he was leaving the stadium recently.

"Jordan couldn't believe it," Junod said on social media. She and Huffman both took to Facebook to thank Morris and the other officer.
