This year’s opening ceremony will be historic as it’s the first time athletes will not be introduced in a stadium. Instead, they will float down the iconic Seine River in boats, passing by some of the Summer Games venues, including the Parc Urbain La Concorde, the Esplanade des Invalides, the Grand Palais, and the Iéna Bridge.
