Beyoncé introduces Team USA in 2024 Paris Games promo

PARIS, France — Beyoncé has lent her star power to a new promo video for the 2024 Paris Olympics, introducing Team USA with enthusiasm and pride. 

Released by NBC Sports, the video highlights top American athletes set to compete in the upcoming games.

"Hello girls, hello fellas," Beyoncé opens with a patriotic remix of her song Ya-Ya from her latest album, Cowboy Carter, welcoming viewers to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. 

One Georgia Olympian, Brody Malone, makes a cameo with the men's gymnastics team after she says, "Hello fellas." (He also gets a prominent spot at about the 30-second mark, flashing a smile.)

She highlights the other diverse talents of Team USA, including:

  • Noah Lyles 
  • Sha'Carri Richardson
  • Caleb Dressel
  • Katie Ledecky
  • Simone Biles

"We've got Superstars, and we've got Legends," Beyoncé says, emphasizing the dreams and sacrifices of these athletes. She expresses her excitement for the team's potential over the next 16 days.

"Give it up for Team USA," she concludes. "What a vision to behold, what a team to believe in, what a night to celebrate."
