PARIS, France — Team USA power couple Hunter Woodhall and Tara Davis-Woodhall are celebrating after winning gold medals in Paris.

Hunter Woodhall, a Paralympic sprinter, won gold last Friday in the men's 400m T62 final with a time of 46.36!

Over the weekend, Hunter posted on social media that this was his first time being on top of the podium and hearing the anthem play.

"This is my first time being a Paralympic Champion. So many emotions, mainly just grateful and proud to be an American. All of my other shortcomings prepared me for this," Hunter wrote on Instagram. "Just trusting the process and time in the process. Dreams do come true; sometimes, they just take a while. Keep fighting."

Check out the heartwarming moment when Hunter won gold and ran over to his wife, Tara.

"You won! You won! You won!" Tara exclaimed. "I'm so proud of you."

Just a few weeks ago, Tara Davis-Woodhall, a former University of Georgia track and field athlete, secured the women's long jump title after she jumped 7.10 meters!

After Tara's gold medal win, she also immediately ran over to celebrate with Hunter.

“Babe, you’re the Olympic champion!” Hunter exclaimed.
