Rain and wrecks plague metro Atlanta roads

Here are what commuters should expect as they hit the roads.

ATLANTA — As rain and wrecks plague metro Atlanta roads, drivers may need to make a plan this morning to handle multiple traffic incidents.

  • The far left lane is open on I-285 southbound before Chamblee Tucker.
  • A wreck is blocking the right lanes on I-20 eastbound at MLK.
  • A wreck is blocking the right lane on I-20 westbound near Candler Road.
  • A wreck is blocking several left lanes on Georgia 400 southbound.
  • A wreck is off to the right just before you hit Delk Road on I-75 southbound.
  • A tractor-trailer jackknifed on the I-85 southbound ramp to I-285 eastbound in the Spaghetti junction in Dekalb.
  • A wreck on I-20 westbound at Riverside Parkway has a left lane blocked.
  • A tractor-trailer went right off the road into the trees on I-285 southbound, which is beginning to cause delays.
  • Another tractor-trailer wreck is on I-75 southbound at I-675. Traffic is being diverted at Highway 138.
