ATLANTA — The stormy weather of yesterday has been replaced by a cold front, and it was frosty enough out there for snowflakes to fall throughout metro Atlanta.
11Alive StormTrackers sent in reports of flurries in areas as far north as Helen as as close to Atlanta itself as Cumming, Woodstock, and even as close as Johns Creek and Marietta.
"I may be losing my mind but it's sleeting at the bus stop in East Cobb," Sarah Morgan wrote to our page.
One 11Alive StormTracker said she even saw some snow at Moores Mill Road in Buckhead!

11Alive photojournalist Jojo Johnson was in Marietta to capture some of the snowy drizzle descending there.
Meanwhile farther north the Rabun County Sheriff's Office told 11Alive it was "pouring" snow. Towns County also reported snow, but says it isn't sticking to the ground.
Snow flurries in metro Atlanta
11Alive meteorologist Chesley McNeil said you may see flurries throughout the morning, but they would be fleeting, and there shouldn't be any snow sticking to the ground.
And 11Alive's Wes Peery adds that it shouldn't leave a huge impact anywhere. But he correctly points out it's fun to look at and overreact to.
And, get this, there could be more tomorrow:
Farther north, 11Alive StormTrackers sent in some photos of solid snowfall sticking in areas like Blue Ridge and Union County.

So if you see some, enjoy it while it lasts, because snowfall isn't likely to last long in any one area.
