CANTON, Ga. — Storms moving across metro Atlanta Friday evening caused power outages and damage as Georgians prepared for Labor Day weekend.
In Canton, 11Alive crews spotted downed trees on Shoal Creek Road and a home damaged by a fallen tree.
Photos paint the picture, showing the debris sitting on the roof of the house.
Another image displays how extensive the damage is -- where there is now a gaping hole in the ceiling with debris from the roof covering the bed and floor of a room inside of the house.
11Alive crews were told at the scene that no injuries were reported.
