SMYRNA, Ga. — Overflow from the Chattahoochee River has flooded The Eddy at Riverview complex in Smyrna, the city said in an Instagram post.
The complex is relatively new in the last few years, and includes businesses such as Reformation Brewing, Chattahoochee Coffee Company and Grand Champion BBQ.
Smyrna's Instagram post said Riverview Road, along which the riverside complex is located, is closed for a long stretch between South Cobb Drive and Veterans Memorial. Access in and out is only possible right now on Dickerson Drive and only residents of The Eddy are allowed access.
The city of Atlanta and surrounding area has been inundated with flooding after Helene brought heavy rainfall during the overnight hours early Friday.
The Chattahoochee River is under a flood warning at several points, including multiple spots in Cobb County.
