ATLANTA — Rain delayed the start of the 2024 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Course on Thursday. But for the rest of the tournament, the weather looks much better!
Gusty winds were felt at the course Thursday, and unfortunately, they are back again Friday.
Temps Friday start in the mid 50s. Sunshine returns for the day with temps climbing into the low 70s. West winds could gust 25 to 35 mph at times.
Winds turn lighter and temps turn warmer over the weekend. Temperatures Saturday for "moving day" or Round 3 will be in the mid and upper 70s in the afternoon. For the final round, temps climb into the 80s.
If you're heading to the Masters over the next three days, don't forget sun protection! Sunscreen, hats and glasses will help protect you from the stronger April sun angle.
