ATLANTA — A 15-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital in critical condition on Tuesday afternoon after two teenagers were shot at an apartment complex in northwest Atlanta, police said.
APD said that its officers responded to 1033 Hollywood Road around 4:40 p.m. -- the location of Hollywood Shawnee Apartments -- and found a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound to the chest and a 17-year-old with a graze wound to his hand.
The 15-year-old was rushed to Grady Hospital by first responders and is in critical condition, police said.
There have already been three deadly shootings along Hollywood Road this year. In early June, a man was found shot to death behind Reserve at Hollywood Apartments on Hollywood Road. Just a little more than a week later, a mother was shot to death in front of her young child on that road. And on July 10, a 16-year-old was killed in a shooting at Reserve at Hollywood Apartments.
Police are still working to find out what led up to the shooting. It's unclear if there are any suspects in custody at this time.
