15-year-old arrested, charged with murder in deadly Memorial Day shooting in Athens

ATHENS, Ga. — A third suspect has been arrested in the deadly Memorial Day shooting that left an Athens man dead back in May, according to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.

On Oct. 9, police arrested Keanthony Sorrells, 15, in the 100 block of Ramble Hills Drive in connection to the death of 20-year-old Cameron Manago. Sorrells is charged as an adult with malice murder, felony murder, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault and gang violence. 

Manago was killed in the deadly incident that happened around 10:25 p.m. on Memorial Day at the Rolling Ridge apartments on Rolling Ridge Drive.

Both Janiya Moore, 18, and Zyquavious Thomas, 16, were previously arrested and are also facing multiple charges, including murder, in connection to Manago's death.
