Brian Kemp’s recent extension of Georgia’s Shelter-in-Place Order impacts city closure extension.

CUMMING, Ga. — The City of Cumming has extended the closure of all city-owned and operated facilities to the public through April 30, 2020, in light of Governor Brian Kemp’s recent extension of Georgia’s Shelter-in-Place Order.

City employees will still report to work whenever possible and will conduct City business via telephone and email. You can find a list of all City of Cumming contact information here

Governor Kemp announced the April 30 extension of the statewide shelter-in-place executive order last Thursday. The new order also extended Georgia's Public Health State of Emergency through May 13. This order overrides any and all previous orders concerning the COVID-19 situation which have been issued by local governments, including the City of Cumming.
