LIST | High school football games across Georgia being rescheduled with Helene looming

A number of the games are being played Wednesday night, Sept. 25, instead of Thursday Sept. 26 with the storm due to arrive.

ATLANTA — As Tropical Storm Helene builds strength and approaches the Gulf of Mexico early Wednesday, a number of high schools across Georgia are rescheduling football games to get them in tonight before the storm is due to make its way into the state on Thursday.

The majority of those games are being rescheduled in south Georgia, which will feel a stronger impact from Helene. But several are also in metro Atlanta.
