GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The hotly-anticipated Savannah Bananas three-game weekend in Gwinnett County will now feature two Saturday affairs, as the team announced it was rescheduling the Friday night game for Saturday with rain on the way.
The Bananas, who have become wildly popular for their irreverent showmanship and branding, as well as for playing by their own unique spin on baseball's rules, are in the midst of a traveling tour that includes three sellouts this weekend at Coolray Field.
Friday night's game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. The Bananas said on social media that it has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Saturday March 23, for 12 p.m. The parking lot will open at 9 a.m. and gates will open at 10:30 a.m. for the rescheduled game.
The originally scheduled Saturday night game for 7 p.m. is unchanged.
"All ticket purchasers will receive an email with all ticket related information and details!" the team wrote on X.
